Drawings for two very special prizes will be held during the Show. To be eligible for a drawing you must bring a rock to the show. For each rock you bring, one ticket in your name will be added to the drawing pool. BCRF rules apply:

    1. Each rock must be larger than a average-sized softball but not as soft as your checkbook.
    2. Your name or herd name must be painted on the bottom of the rock
    3. Only decorated rocks accepted.  It is suggested that the paint be suitable for outdoor weather or that a sealant be used to coat the design or painting.
    4. New! Due to numerous requests, it is now permissible to throw rocks at the show committee at any time.
    5. Due to popular request the limit has been raised to 50 rocks per person.
    6. Skipping stones are allowed if they meet the size requirements in rule #1.
    7. Tar balls are not allowed

Rocks may be igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic. Those containing gold, silver, diamonds, other precious metals, or drilled with at least two holes stuffed with $100 bills will receive two drawing tickets. Be creative with your rock. It may be painted, sculpted, sandblasted, polished & dressed for Sunday Services or otherwise made attractive. The three rocks judged to be most attractive in each division will each receive two drawing tickets.

There will be two divisions, Junior and Adult.

Junior: Entrant age 14 years or under.

Two youth prizes. one a drawing and the other people's choice.

Purpose: To demonstrate to our youth that in some form or another they will each have a sack of rocks to carry through life.

Adult: Entrant age 15 years to 110.

Two adult prizes, one a drawing and the other people's choice voting.

Purpose: To demonstrate to yourself and others that you can still carry a pretty big load despite your deteriorating condition.

So come rock and roll (rocks) with us at the

Bluff Country Classic.

All entries become the property of the Bluff Country Rock Fest Committee and will be displayed permanently in the Valley of the Goat Perennial Garden. Concrete blocks with Chia Grass are ineligible.
